Metanoia
A 360-degree audiovisual installation made for a second-semester Expanded Media project.
About the work
Metanoia was part of my second-semester Expanded Media project. We built a full 360-degree audiovisual installation with six screens and a complex speaker setup, taking the ISM Hexadome format as a reference for what we could build within one semester.
I worked on the sound design, music, and spatial audio setup with Hanieh Chavoshi, Sahel Minaei, and Media Shokrani. The six-screen projection and multichannel speaker system meant planning transitions and movement across the room rather than along a left-right stereo field. The project used Berlin’s ISM Hexadome as a reference, but was built at semester scale with our own material and technical constraints.
